On April 25, LACBA held a day-long Diversity and Inclusion Conference that was attended by more than 200 legal professionals. The sold out event focused on fostering inclusion and celebrating diversity within the legal community while creating a platform for discussion, collaboration, and networking.

"At a time when DEI initiatives and the rule of law are under siege, LACBA remained committed to the goal of a diverse, representative, and inclusive legal profession,” said Ann I. Park, 2022-2023 LACBA President and conference organizer.

Hosted and co-sponsored by Loyola Law School, the conference included a panel discussion with Greenberg Glusker’s Brian Moskal, Director of Diversity and Inclusion for Foley & Mansfield John M. Myung, and California Lawyers Association Chair Terrance J. Evans, moderated by Ann I. Park. The event also featured a deep-dive discussion with Loyola Law School professor Kimberly West-Faulcon, a nationally known civil rights law expert.

Multiple breakout sessions were part of the full-day program, including a panel with L.A. Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Bradley, California Minority Counsel Program Executive Director Tracy Broadhead, and Diversity Lab CEO Caren Ulrich Stacy.
