Summary

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Ensuring your firm is non-discriminatory and welcoming to all is both good business practice and required by the California Rules of Professional Conduct. This program will address how to make sure your firm's public facing materials and legally and culturally appropriate, discuss how to communicate in ways that are inclusive, consider how to train your staff to be open to accommodating to people of different backgrounds, highlight ways to make your physical meetings accessible to people with different needs, examine how firm policies may unintentionally discriminate against employees, and explore how to build bridges before having uncomfortable conversations about race, gender, religion, and other potentially sensitive topics.
