Summary

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
In 2023 California adopted The Climate Accountability Package – SB 253 and SB 261 – which created the nation’s first requirements for large corporations to publicly disclose their greenhouse gas emissions, carbon embedded in supply chains, and climate risks. This panel will examine how this legislation is anticipated to influence consumers, investors, and the behavior of California’s largest corporations.
