ACMAS Fee Arbitrator Training
The ACMAS training program is for all prospective and current volunteers who are interested in arbitrating attorney-client fee disputes for LACBA’s Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program. Other California Mandatory Fee Arbitration Programs may give credit for LACBA’s training program. Check with your local program for reciprocity.
For lawyers, ACMAS training programs include regular CLE credit and ethics credit.
The training provides the basic training required to serve on the Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program’s fee arbitration panel. Non-lawyer (lay) arbitrators, in addition to attorneys, are encouraged to undergo this training and join LACBA’s Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program.
