Alternative Dispute Resolution Section

The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section brings together professionals dedicated to resolving disputes outside of traditional litigation. By promoting fair, timely, and cost-effective alternatives, the Section supports attorneys, mediators, arbitrators, and other practitioners in advancing a more efficient and collaborative justice system.

The ADR Section serves LACBA members, the courts, and the broader community by fostering excellence in mediation, arbitration, negotiation, and other forms of dispute resolution. We provide education, training, and leadership opportunities while creating a forum for practitioners to connect, share resources, and advance the use of ADR across California.
