By drawing on the wisdom and experience of its members, the Senior Lawyers Section upholds the honor of the profession, promotes the public good, and provides opportunities for education, history, and fellowship. LACBA members aged 55 and up or admitted to practice for at least 25 years are eligible for section membership.
The purposes of the Senior Lawyers Section are to:
- Uphold the honor and dignity of the legal profession.
- Apply the knowledge and experience of its members to the promotion of the public good.
- Present programs of educational and general interest.
- Preserve the history of the legal profession in Los Angeles.
- Cultivate social interaction among its members.
