Outstanding Young Lawyer Award

The recipients of the Real Property Section's Young Lawyer Award are outstanding in the real estate industry and in the community in the following areas:

1. Recognition within the legal profession for real estate lawyering skills while in practice ten years or fewer;
2. Public speaking or general publication of written work on legal real estate issues;
3. Successful involvement with high profile, complex real estate transactions or litigation;
4. Use of unique approaches to resolving transactional or litigation obstacles in real estate matters; and
5. Community service.                                                                                                                 

Consideration is also be given to whether the nominee is a woman, minority, or a member of another group that is or has historically been underrepresented in the legal profession.
